The human pathogens E. coli CFT073 and RS218 were thus examined by AFM with the same experimental parameters, and there were no significant differences in cellular shapes and dimensions between these three genotypes at the feature size of 10 μm, seen in Fig. 3a c.
Importantly, there were no significant differences in stress-induced increase fold of serum corticosterone levels between these three genotypes (F = 2.68, p = 0.15).
No sociodemographic differences between these two genotype groups were present for gender, age and educational level (data not shown).
There were no sociodemographic differences with regard to gender, age and educational level between these two genotype subgroups in suicide attempters (data not shown).
This finding indicated that the penetration ability of the pollen tube in the pistil under heat stress could lead to the different heat tolerance between these two genotypes, which can be mediated by the auxin level.
Additionally, under heat stress, significantly higher decrease in POD activity was found in NPB plants under H2O treatment compared with its respective control, while no significant difference was found in HTS plants (Fig. 2c and d), which indicated that POD might be the main factor leading to the different heat tolerance between these two genotypes.
No significant difference was found between these two genotypes (Fig 7B, panel 2, Two-way ANOVA, p = 0.681, post hoc Newman-Keuls test).
This is in line with the observation that there is no difference in theta power and theta-dominated wakefulness between these two genotypes (see above).
The only apparent difference between these two genotypes is the absence of KIR2DL2 in Bx32 (Figure 1C); however they may very well vary in the composition of the two parental haplotypes making up the combined genotype.
Using the individual AI method, we calculate positive AI values for both control pdf/Q0-Htt and pdf/Q128-Htt flies, and see no significant difference in morning anticipation between these two genotypes and their respective genetic background controls (Figure 5B, Figure S1).
