Studies were included, in which the prognostic significance of intratumoural CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, and FoxP3+ lymphocytes, as well as ratios between these subsets, were determined in solid tumours.
However, the differences of mutational frequencies between these subsets were statistically significant (IgM+ plasma cells 3.8%, IgG+ plasma cells 11.2% and IgM+ IgG+ cells 6.3%).
Varying the time interval between displays of these subsets was a major variable of the experiment, as described below.
Similarly, a wrong order will be obtained for shared markers that belong to poorly overlapping subsets of mapping populations, if the missing experimental information on recombination rates between markers from these subsets is "derived" analytically based on linear approximation.
Furthermore, when sub-groups of AP2 TFs (DREBs) and HSFs were phlyogenetically analysed, the orthology between the genes in each of these subsets were clearly seen, as well as a conserved pattern of up-regulation (Additional file 1, Figure S5B and C) indicating conservation, both at the gene and expression levels for these families.
