"There is no link between us and these groups," said Sidi El Mokhtar, who heads the Arabic-language service at ANI. "They send us information and we publish it.
"There's always tension between those groups," said Harriet Kaufman, a senior managing director at Warburg Realty.
"There is a balance between power groups," said an aide to Mr. Shirzai, Yusuf Pashtoon.
"A poor economy magnifies the differences between student groups," said Lawrence Katz, a professor of economics at Harvard.
"We want to connect the inhabitants with the city itself and break down the barriers between different groups," said DF's editor, Guillermo Osorno, 41, a former diplomat who has a degree from Columbia University, where he attended the Graduate School of Journalism.
"One of the things that is especially interesting about tablet adoption compared to some of the patterns of other devices we've studied is how these technologies' growth has played out between different age groups," said Kathryn Zickuhr, a research analyst for Pew.
"Clearly, there's no love lost between the two groups," said one executive who was involved in the transaction.
"There's really not much crossover" between the two groups, said Ivan Briggs, the pen department chief for Bonhams auction house.
"Today there is no leader like Deng Xiaoping, and the leadership must strike a balance between different political groups," said Mr. Xu, the financial analyst.
