We used Cox proportional hazards models to assess the association between the exercise tests and mortality (up to 2 years).
To assess the association between the exercise tests and HRQoL from baseline up to 2 years we used random-effects linear regression models that took into account the within-person (repeated measurements) and between-person variability.
