The objective is to allow conversion of models between the different file formats used in Systems Biology, many of which are tool-specific.
When data do not include well completed or accurate unique identifiers, probabilistic match weights are often used to measure the similarity between records in different files [ 11, 12].
Please note that Vanted usually serves as a data sink and the conversion between different file formats is not in the focus of the tool.
