Genes showing significantly different expression differences between the compared groups were clustered with Cluster and their expression pattern graphically illustrated using TreeView (as described in [ 4]).
When comparing clusters between transcribed and silent genes, we observed that the composition of gene clusters did not change with respect to transcription (r 0.99 and 0.99, respectively) and that this was true both for gene clusters associated with H3K4me (r 0.93 and 0.97, respectively) and for those not associated with H3K4me (r 0.99 and 0.88, respectively).
