Examination of the ten genes on either side of each CCA gene cluster (or to the end of the assembly scaffold) revealed no shared synteny, and BLAST2Seq pairwise searches of the intergenic regions revealed no meaningful similarity between the clusters from each species with the longest hit limited to 14 bp and the lowest Expect value only 0.045.
The Bayesian inference, maximum-likelihood, and maximum-parsimony analyses identified the cluster from Spain and EBLV-1a and EBLV-1b as being monophyletic, although only maximum-likelihood and maximum-parsimony analyses suggested a closer relationship between EBLV-1a and the cluster from Spain.
Accordingly, the probability of homology between the genes inside the clusters from the two genomes is significantly higher than (i) the probability of homology between the genes outside the clusters or (ii) the probability of homology between the genes inside the clusters and the genes outside the clusters (P = 6.2 × 10 121, χ test).

Spacings between the clusters range from 14.5 to 340 m.
Characterization was applied to reveal the difference between the clusters obtained from the different precursor types.
On focusing on the clusters, including transcription factors, characteristic relationships between the clusters emerged from the associations of the clusters within and between the four phases; one of the remarkable features is the distinctive relationships for the clusters between neighboring and non-neighboring phases.
The square inserts in (B and C ) show overlap between the clusters resulting from the whole brain group comparisons (orange) and the controls' hand area (white), as shown in (A ).
Partial vibrational density of states (vDOS) was obtained using an abinitio molecular dynamics simulation, and it was found that the ∼10 meV peak mainly originates from the phonon excitations inside the L12-type Zn6Y8 clusters and the ∼17 meV peak from those between the cluster and the host Mg atoms, and a small shoulder at 5 meV consists of motions of all the elements.
The standard deviation is calculated from the distance between the cluster center and each stress tensor assigned to the same cluster.
