In this context, it is important to discriminate between physical activity practiced at work and during leisure, which may differ markedly in both structure and effects.
Other aspects also have been studied by Brasilia Cohort, including, for example, physical activity practice among patients with early RA and the possible association between physical activity, disease activity and functional disability, frequency of vaccination, and the orientation about vaccines among patients in Brasilia Cohort [ 45– 45].
Physical activity practice showed a significant effect already after 6 months [ 26], although modalities of the physical activity program were quite similar between these two studies.
A longitudinal study showed that there is also a relationship between the amount of physical activity practiced and the volume of the prefrontal and temporal areas as well as the volume of the hippocampus, after 9 years of monitoring of 299 subjects (178 women) aged 78 [55].
Furthermore implementation of physical activity practices in these settings is similar [ 38].
Given the epidemic rates of obesity [ 1, 2] and the paucity of data about the relationships between physical activity and dietary practice, more research is needed to confirm whether the motivational readiness stages for physical activity and dietary practice are, in general, complementary or discrepant.
Recognize the difference between physical activity and exercise.
Physicians following a vegetarian or macrobiotic diet were twice as likely to recommend and practice CAM; a similar association was found between physical activity and CAM recommendation.

Sports practice during adolescence are related to higher physical activity levels in adulthood, so that associations found between physical activity in young adulthood and bone mass could reflect sports activities in the past, which have greater ground reaction force and, therefore, are more osteogenic [ 52].
