Ott and colleagues investigated [18F]FLT-PET as a response marker to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in patients with gastric cancer (n = 45) and reported a significant association between SUVmean following one cycle of chemotherapy (2 weeks after the initiation of therapy) and prognosis, but not treatment response [7].
