In this study, 21 individuals from the D. d. deficiens subspecies, 13 from D. d. meridionalis and 21 from D. d. sylvatica (with 12 individuals from morphotype C and 9 from morphotype A) were analysed (Table 1).
Our morphotype data show that δ18O and δ13C variation between morphotypes is no greater than within-morphotype variability.
