Using a hierarchical island model (HIM) to describe patterns of differentiation within and between human continental groups, we identified SNPs from the HGDP panel that presented unusual levels of population differentiation.
Then, using the Bioconductor package 'LIMMA' [ 30], differentially expressed miRNAs between the STAMPEDE and control groups we identified.
Instead of finding genes differentially expressed between two groups, we identify differentially enriched modules by performing sample-level EA SLEAA).
However, by comparing the copy number landscape between mouse groups, we also identified CNAs that were present in multiple models (Fig. 2; Supplemental Table 4), which can be considered as common CNAs of murine mammary oncogenesis.
Side effects, as assessed with the AIMS, BAS, and SAS, did not differ between the two groups, whereas we identified a higher proportion of patients with drugs to correct side effects in the polypharmacy group (p < 0.01).
