To examine the relationship between array size and transcriptional responses to EGF, E2 or 4HT, we next used RNA FISH to measure dsRED2skl mRNA accumulation at the array (Figure 4A).
There seems to be some correlation, however, between array size and content in paralogous (whether coding or non-coding) cassettes, as all large arrays (the two V. vulnificus strains and V. cholerae) have in excess of 44% of cassettes repeated at least twice in the array while smaller arrays all have around 25% of paralogs (Table 1).

Lastly we investigate the relation between the array size and the resolution of dispersion measurement.
The results demonstrated that the CNTs have high purity, and form densely-aligned arrays with controllable array size and height.
Ideally, analysis of the array size and copy number at each individual allele would be desirable, in order to distinguish between, for example, two medium size arrays versus one large and one small array, which may have significant phenotypic differences.

Intuitively, the difference of effective array size between random selection and fixed selection for M=4 is larger than that for M=16.
Overall the gas sensor array size is 1.5 cm2 and the distance between the sensing layers is 100 μm.
Building array size, measurement plane and flow conditions were varied.
In a search paradigm in which array size was varied between 5, 9 and 17 items, the largest P1 and the shortest P1 latencies were found for the largest array with 17 items (Taylor et al., 2001b).
In this section, we simulate the SINR performance versus different DOA separations between desired signal and interference and versus different array size.
