"If I want to win titles I have to get better at everything," he stated.
"I'll go to another country, go to another shore, / find another city better than this one," he states (in the translation by Edmund Keeley and Philip Sherrard).
Beckwith isn't opposed to state legislation on zoning, but it's far better, he said, when state lawmakers collaborate with local governments to find a solution.
"We try to prove that putting sustainability in the heart of your strategy will actually deliver better results," he states.
"[T]he less we say about constitutional difficulties respecting Louisiana the better," he advised Secretary of State James Madison 1771.
"His energy should be about making the state better," he said of Gillespie.
And yet, while Paul is doing better, state by state, than he did in 2008, he has conspicuously failed to establish himself as this year's Tea Party candidate.
"So I would have thought that the sooner you can roll it out, Secretary of State, the better," he added.
"If we can get clearer, cleaner noise-free measures of the spectrogram then we can infer the states even better," he said.
"A criminologist will know that, perhaps, better than I," he states.
