"It was a nexus of the times," Lewis explains, "Danceteria wasn't the only club or the best, it just happened to strike gold at a very particular time and place".
But the lesson of what went best is that it happened when we were at our boldest.
But the Oscars aboard the plane – for best picture, as it happened — got special treatment, even journeying into the cabin to meet the pilot.
"It could have been anybody," Robinson said, "because at the time I felt he was one our best defenseman when it happened.
I was on the phone with my best friend when it happened.

"But on the other hand, if the will is there and people apply the right type of what I call patient determination, in other words, understanding, if you are always doing the best, it does happen," he added.

It happened with Academy Award best picture winner "Crash," it happened with "The Blind Side," it happened earlier this year with "Detroit".
The festival's keen booking, indie spirit and well-curated offerings, which last year made it the city's best music festival when it happened at Los Angeles State Historic Park, were no match for the new locale's labyrinthine festival layout and the first day's miscalculations.
