For example, the hydroxyl radical elements have PoP lower than 1% in the complete model, whereas the PoP is higher than 70% in the model without weights, which is not realistic (the parameter PoP is defined below, in the Simulations subsection).
The values, given in Table 2 below, are used in the simulation exercises reported in the next section.
In the simulation results presented below, the initial conditions are chosen in the neighborhood of the true fundamental frequencies in the observed audio signal, such that the PZLP estimation algorithms yield a solution that corresponds with high probability to the global solution.
Due to hardware constraints the version of the mesh used in the simulation study presented below has an average edge length of 0.036 cm and consists of 4,471,781 nodes and 4,283,704 elements.
Note that in the simulation below, after today's light rain, a few lines – showing the amount of precipitation with time in different simulations – are flat suggesting they simulate the storm mainly missing us to the south (the colors indicate precipitation type – the transition from green to light blue to blue indicative of rain changing to sleet to snow).
All geometrical parameters in the simulation below are based on the International Technology Roadmap for Semiconductors (ITRS) 2007 [13].
In the simulation below, the free parameters related to KLMS are set as follows: the Gaussian kernel with kernel width equaling to 0.6 is selected and step size η is set to 0.9, which were cross-validated in a training set.
In the Simulation section below, we will provide simulations using both implementations of optimal choice.
In the simulation study below, we find that the bias is small.
