Exploring such issues is preferably done in a group in which a variety of health and well-being problems may be expected such as post-hospitalized elderly.
In a group of post-hospitalized older people, a wide range of differences in health, capabilities and well-being problems may be expected due to (differences in) age, physical function, and other characteristics of the elderly such as multi-morbidity and support from their direct environment.
The three first CORE domains (well-being, problems and functioning), have been found to be highly correlated, while the risk domain shows more moderate correlations with the other domains [ 7- 9].
Participants with hereditary retinal diseases had more issues with social interaction (social well-being), problems with mobility and orientation (mobility), and effect on work and finance (economic) than participants with acquired retinal diseases.
Overall those patients reported more well-being problems than patients without an enterostomy (Table 2).
