In order to determine if the number of significant correlations within a behavioural category was overrepresented, we conducted Fishers Exact Tests which showed that behaviour traits in general were overrepresented with miR-31 expression (p < 0.05) and cocaine related traits were overrepresented with both miR-34c expression (p < 0.05) and miR-212 expression (p < 0.1) (see Table 5).
In addition, miR-34a animals also performed a reduced amount of displacement behaviours (F 1,18)=1.886; P=1.886, Figure 8b) suggesting a reduced social anxiety; duration of this behavioural category did not differ between the two groups (Z=−0.680; P=0.4963).
To add to the latter, the behavioural process set comprises verbs that are arguably verbal in nature, as in (65), yet due to their inability to project, are instead considered to pertain to the behavioural category (Halliday and Matthiessen 2014: 302).
In line with the proposal to remove the behavioural category from the Transitivity system, one way to address the fact that a Target may emerge in a clause comprising a verbal process is to allow for the verbal process set to cater for a distinction between verbs with and those without the potential to project (see Bartley 2017 for more details on a proposal of verbal process subtypes).
At-sea observations of shearwaters with the behavioural category of 'feeding' were extremely sparse: of the 3266 surveys in which shearwaters were sighted, only 38 contained a record of feeding shearwaters.
For each animal, two objects, O1 and O2, served as T and NI, changing behavioural category across trials.
In early windows the two were rather unrelated, suggesting disruption of behavioural category coding on error trials.
