This article reports on behaviour of project leaders of innovation projects when these projects encountered critical incidents, i.e. events that could cause a project to significantly deviate from its planning.
In so doing, we present a model of reflective practice and organizational learning that can be used for the professionalization of behaviour of project leaders in innovation projects, and perhaps for other kind of projects as well.
