The vast majority of children display a range of behaviour problems, such as whining or disobeying.
Examples include intellectual problems, such as developmental delays; developmental problems, such as autism; behaviour problems, such as conduct disorder; emotional problems, such as anxiety; and physical problems, such as bed-wetting.
There is a lack of high quality data on the effectiveness of these techniques in other behaviour problems such as wandering.
In the AS/HFA group, maternal health was related to behaviour problems such as hyperactivity and conduct problems in the child.

The list of 20 practices were taken from an item pool drawn from a literature review of self-care behaviours for health problems such as chronic pain and fatigue [ 28- 30] where approaches to self-care are less well defined that conditions such as diabetes.
