In this work a physical modelling framework is presented, describing the intelligent, non-local, and anisotropic behaviour of pedestrians.
It was observed that the size of the vehicle has a significant influence on gap acceptance and crossing behaviour of pedestrians.
But if behaviour of pedestrians while crossing is analysed in such conditions, it might be possible to create suitable solution to lessen the risk and ensure safety.
Human activities generally have little effect on the behaviour of pedestrians when only 1 to 3 persons are involved in the activities, while a deep effect on the behaviour of pedestrians is noted when > 6 persons are involved in the activities.

Assuming that the walking behaviour of the pedestrian is not affected by the motion of the supporting structure, the contact force between the pedestrian and the supporting structure is decomposed into the force exerted by the pedestrian on a perfectly rigid floor and an interaction term determined by the mechanical interaction between the person and the structure.
