In the absence of any fatigue data, the Roessle Fatemi hardness method in combination with the maximum principal strain criterion was found to provide excellent estimate of the shear fatigue behavior for the case-hardened specimens.
We illustrate the usefulness of the multi-mode models in predicting mixing and selectivity effects on reactor performance and the influence of local transport effects on reactor runaway and bifurcation behavior for the case of non-isothermal homogeneous and catalytic reactors.
Also, as shown in [34], (28) might not have a good behavior for the case that coherence of cross columns is small.
The areas that appear in the graphs of Figure 4 show only combinations of biologically relevant parameter values leading to tumors that exhibit monotonic behavior for the case of free growth [23], [24] and tumors displaying volume reduction after therapy for the case of treatment.
