In this paper we demonstrate that a meta-analysis of SNP data from TCGA which have not been previously analyzed, together with data from the Adult Glioma Study, identify 12 glioma-associated SNPs which represent 5 genomic regions -- 5p15.33, 9p21.3, 1p21.2, 3q26.2 and 7p15.3 -- three of these not previously reported.
