High Poisson's ratio (1.8) is observed at shallow depth beneath the Minzhong depression to the southeast of the Wuchuan-Sihui fault and the Huiyuan depression in the southern margin of South China continent.
In fact, due to the complex geometry of this fault, these branches are observed at a shallower depth than at GPK-1.
Significant low-velocity and low-V p/V s anomalies were observed at depths shallower than 20 km in the overriding NA.
A pronounced low-velocity anomaly in P- and S-waves with low-V p/V s ratio (1.5 1.6) was observed at depths shallower than 20 km in the overriding North American plate.
The slip amount near the free surface initially became larger than that in the case without the free surface, as shown in the panel labeled "8 10 s" in Fig. 9b, and the final slip amount was larger and the maximum slip was observed at a shallower depth than in the case without the free surface (Figs. 8b, 9c).
