"bed time" is a perfectly valid and usable phrase in written English.
It can be used to refer to the time which people usually go to bed at night, or to refer to a particular activity which is done at that time, such as reading stories, brushing teeth, or saying prayers. For example: It's almost bed time, so please brush your teeth and get your pajamas on.
