British author Robert Louis Stevenson once said "To be what we are, and to become what we are capable of becoming, is the only end of life".
In the adult world, however — or, at least, the adult world Rowling portrays in "The Casual Vacancy" — becoming is no longer part of the equation; everyone has long since become.
But, regardless of what they become, I hope I've made it clear that the process of their becoming is wholly separate from however network television is made.
Or,Becoming, never being, till Becoming is a being still.
What we are, or are becoming, is much less clear.
