The perceived lack of time becomes real: We are not stressed because we have no time, but rather, we have no time because we are stressed.
This is "passive leisure", and if we are lucky enough to get time off at the weekend, because we are stressed and overworked, we may be inclined to veg out and binge-watch box sets or tuck into the football marathon, decompressing mindlessly.
Oftentimes, we get wrapped up in negativity because we are stressed, overwhelmed, frustrated or angry.
