Hence, we did not analyze 7 elements any further, either due to a lack of any observable LTRs whatever the method (Osr9, Osr10, Osr11, Osr18) or because our analysis did not confirm the LTR positions described in the literature (Osr16, Osr23, Osr31).
Among these drugs with unexpected gene signatures, we focused on vismodegib, a Hedgehog pathway inhibitor, 25 because our clustering analysis suggested its possible similarity with the oncogenic kinase inhibitors (Fig. 1).
