Silver nanowire-based flexible transparent electrodes have critical problem, in spite of their excellent electrical and optical properties, that the electrical conductance and transparency degrade within several days in air because of oxidation of silver.
Because the dimensions of silver particles are ranging from 3 to 5 nm and the scattering effects are derived from aluminum/silica matrixes, UV-visible spectra of SAS-400 (blue curve) and SAS-600 (sky blue curve) disclose the close resemblance tendency that their absorption peaks become broader and lower by comparing with the result of SAS-250.
The first explicitly physiological expedition to the Everest region took place as part of what became known as the Silver Hut Expedition of 1960 1961 (so named because of the silver paint used on the expedition's prefabricated hut).

Most probably the lighter color was because of the presence of silver metal within the alloy shell.
All this climaxed in early 1980, when investors paid up to US$850 per ounce of gold (and $50 for an ounce of silver) because everyone knew that gold was heading to $3,000 the ounce.
This saturation is because of preferential consumption of silver atoms by the nanoparticles formed in the bulk of the glass, which absorption grows about linearly for longer annealing of the glass in hydrogen (see Figure 2).
This is because of the distance of silver ions - hydrogen reaction frontier from the glass surface, which results in slow nucleation on the surface and, respectively, preferential growth of nanoparticles in the vicinity of the frontier that is in the bulk of the glass.
