Precast beams are firstly supported on columns' cover concrete and then the topping concrete is poured on site to fill the gaps in the column and the top of the beam (Park and Bull 1986; Chen et al. 2012).

The existing EISCAT radars are sensitive to small debris fragments in the centimetre size range, and EISCAT has been involved in statistical studies of orbital debris for over 10 years (Markkanen et al. 2002, 2005, 2009), by conducting so called beam-park measurements of debris.
