Similar discrepancies have been demonstrated towards human chronic myelogenous leukaemia K562 whereas on one hand BE is reported as active, IC50 value 14.5 μM [ 25], while on the other hand it is completely inactive, IC50 values >200 μM [ 26] and 250 μM [ 35].
