In the B1s spectrum (Fig. 5b), the peak can be fitted using two components: B N bond (190.4 eV) and B O bond (191.2 eV).
Figure 1a shows the PL spectrum measured under an excitation power of 100 mW at 15 K. Obviously, it can be fitted using three Gaussian-shaped peaks with a nearly equal energy difference of approximately 60 meV.
For further reference, based on the monthly emission of radioCs until the end of 2011 estimated by TEPCO 2012, the primary emission decrease can be fitted using two exponential laws with half-time constants of 2.3 days (±2 %) and 48 days (±23 %).
The dissolution profiles were fitted using four analytical models: the equilibrium streamtube model (ESM), the advection dispersion model (ADM), the power law model (PLM) and the Damkohler number model (DaM).
The C1s signals of the XPS spectra were fitted using four contributing centrosymmetric Gaussian Lorentzian peaks around 285.0 eV (attributed to aliphatic carbon [21]), around 285.8 eV (attributed to carbon atoms located close to the carboxylic group [22]), around 286.8 eV (attributed to C* O atoms [21]), and around 289.3 eV (attributed to carboxylic carbon [22]).
To estimate (a_{0}), (a_{1}), and (a_{2}), we first evaluated the hourly values of the intercept and slope obtained from the linear regression analysis; then, the time series of each parameter a i (i = 0, 1, 2) was fitted using four sinusoidal functions as follows a_{i} = C + mathop sum limits_{k = 1}^{4} A_{k} { sin }left( {omega_{k} t + varphi_{k} } right)where time t represents the hour in UT.
The same data is fitted using two forms of the TOS decay function.
The electromigration cumulative percent lifetime probability of dual Damascene Cu/SiLK interconnects was fitted using three, individual lognormal functions where the functional populations were grouped by void growth location determined from focused ion beam failure analysis of all 54 of the stressed structures.
Equation (4) was fitted using two different approaches.
The experimental Raman spectrum is fitted using two Gaussian functions centered at 501 and 460 cm−1.
