Based on the committee's evaluation of the submission forms, it appears to be difficult for health promotion organizations to describe the theoretical basis of their interventions, and interventions often appear not to have been systematically planned and developed based on established health behaviour change theory.
This national funding was distributed to regional health boards who, in turn, allocated the funding to local Community Health Partnerships (CHPs) on the basis of their peer-reviewed intervention proposals.
