Quantitation of the immunofluorescence co-staining of Mac2 with nuclear Ki67 demonstrated a modest but statistically significant decrease of %Ki67+ in Mac2+ cells (Fig 6D), suggesting that enhanced recruitment, rather than local proliferation, is the basis for the stroma phenotype.
