The genomic taxonomy is defined on the basis of an integrated comparative genomics approach that include, e.g., the analysis of multilocus sequence analysis (MLSA), supertree analysis, average amino acid identity (AAI), average nucleotide identity (ANI), genomic signatures, codon usage bias, metabolic pathway content, core and pan genome analysis.
