Myelination in the CNS proceeds along a caudo-rostral axis; at postnatal day 1 (P1), mature oligodendrocytes expressing markers such as myelin basic protein (MBP) are visible in the spinal cord, while at the mRNA level, MBP+ cell bodies are found in the ventral region of the brain stem [12] (Figure 1A).
Basic demographic information such as age and sex, physiologic markers such as diastolic blood pressure, and laboratory data were all retrieved retrospectively from the electronic medical record.
The Glendale case and others like it are forcing courts to address a basic question: How far can the government go to obtain biometric markers such as fingerprints and hair?

In the first 20 genes expressed highly in both fetal and adult pituitaries (Table 1), tissue-specific functional markers, such as GH, PRL, and glycoprotein hormones alpha (CGA), were frequently encountered in both tissues, which reflected the basic pituitary functions.
cMSCs expressed mesenchymal markers, such as CD29, CD105, CD166 and were negative for hematopoietic markers such as CD34, CD45.
Gilz expression might thus be a more specific marker of ARDS severity than other markers such as CRP and NETs.
With these morphological changes, mRNA expression of epithelial markers such as cytokeratin 19 (CK19) decreased, while that of mesenchymal markers such as α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) increased.
