This model is based on the psycho-acoustic work of Fletcher (1953) who proposed a similar principle for the human auditory system.
Two such games are Kiss Psycho Circus: The Nightmare Child, an action game based on the Kiss Psycho Circus comic books, which are inspired by the rock band Kiss, and Dracula Resurrection, an adventure game.
Successive frames of the time-domain signal are transformed to a basilar membrane representation based on the PEAQ psycho-acoustic model [24, 25].
The ICF is based on the bio-psycho-social model of health and disability and classifies functionality at different levels [ 6].

Treatment in the second study was based on the bio-psycho-social model with the intervention group receiving a needs-based psychosocial treatment in addition to the treatment for the control group that consisted of the clinic's "usual" approach consisting of a thorough examination, explanations, training/spinal manipulation/medication as needed, and advice on continued management.
The new International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health [ 18] is based on the bio-psycho-social model of health and consequently assumes that the negative impact of cognitive deficits on activities can be diminished by improving facilitation in the patients' physical and social environment.
Presently, etiological research has a broad approach to LBP, based on the bio-psycho-social model and several studies have been performed in which risks associated with physical characteristics [ 2], psychological characteristics [ 3], lifestyle factors [ 4], employment [ 5- 8], social factors [ 9, 10] and genetic components [ 11, 12] were investigated.
Based on the bio-psycho-social ICF model of functioning, disability and health [ 18], exercise therapy aims not only at improving body functions but also at improving participation by means of physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, strengthening exercises, functional task-oriented training and aerobic training [ 19].
Mr. Aguirre-Sacasa most recently worked on improving the script for a revival of the musical "It's a Bird It's a Plane It's Superman" for a production last summer in Dallas, and he is working on a musical project based on the novel "American Psycho".
