To examine the potential impact of the flawed absentee ballots on the final results, The Times retained Gary King, a professor of government at Harvard who has developed new statistical methods to draw inferences about individual voting behavior based on group voting patterns.
Their observations were experimentally verified by the English scientist Sir Francis Galton, who suggested the first elementary system for classifying fingerprints based on grouping the patterns into arches, loops, and whorls.
The pattern of distances among multicopy 16S rRNA genes within single genomes could be categorized into four patterns based on the grouping patterns of the multicopy genes (four typical patterns were selected and shown in fig. 2).
The distances among the genes of each genome were displayed by multidimensional scaling (MDS), and the distance pattern of the multicopy 16S rRNA genes was categorized into four types based on the grouping patterns.
Furthermore, the T. dicoccoides accessions from Turkey, Iran and Syria were clustered in one group based on their methylation patterns.
Accessions from Mt. Hermon were significantly clustered in one group based on their methylation patterns, as were Jaba, Mt. Amasa and Tabgha accessions (Additional file 2: Figure S7).
In Fig. 2 it can be seen that accessions from Mt. Hermon were significantly clustered in one group based on their methylation patterns, and so were Jaba, Mt. Amasa and Tabgha accessions (Additional file 2: Figure S3).
We clustered all gene families into groups based on their rate patterns, calling each group a rate pattern group (RPG).
The final model was able to split the patients into a high-risk group and a low-risk group based on staining patterns for p110α, P-S6, ErbB2 and p53 (Fig 6A).
It classifies individuals into distinct groups based on the patterns of longitudinal outcome, so that individual within a group are more similar than those between different groups.
