This study is based on four population-based birth cohorts, Asturias, Gipuzkoa, Sabadell and Valencia, from the Spanish INMA study [Environment and Childhood].
Of these, six were longitudinal general population-based studies [ 19- 24], and four were case-control studies based on three populations [ 26- 29].
Another map, based on two populations derived from a cross between 'Piel de Sapo' and PI161375, identified several quantitative trait loci (QTLs) controlling fruit-quality traits [ 18].
In a meta-analysis, the RR was 0.8 (95% CI: 0.5 1.0) based on five populations exposed to FA (Ojajärvi et al. 2000).
In a study based on two populations, the IGFBP1 concentration was inversely correlated with several established cardiovascular risk factors and directly correlated with insulin sensitivity (14).
This result supports that of a previous study of inbreeding depression in P. chiapensis at family level based on three populations (del Castillo and Trujillo 2008).
