The raw scores from the Social Skills Scale and the Problem Behaviors Scale are converted into age- and gender-normed standard scores (M = 100; SD = 15; Benes 1995) based on a large standardization sample that included regular and special education students, as well as a significant proportion of ethnic minority youth (Benes 1995).
