The correlation between serum TCDD levels and time served in Southeast Asia was not reported, but it appeared to be modest, based on a table showing quartiles of serum TCDD by quartiles of years in Southeast Asia.
Associations shown are based on a single model where quartile terms for all PCBs are entered.
After adjustment for age, smoking status, abstinence time, sperm concentration and motility, serum lipids, and p,p´-DDE, we observed an overall significant linear increase in the rate of YY, XY, and total sex-chromosome disomy for the second, third, and fourth quartiles of Σ4PCBs compared with the lowest quartile based on a trend test (Table 5).
p-Values for trend test were based on a linear model through the quartile medians.
Population quartiles, based on a propensity model, were developed to address these imbalances.
Table 2 shows that when women are stratified into quartiles based on an innovation contest judged by a panel of women, their RD scores correlate strongly with innovation scores.
The incidence rate ratios (IRRs) of the associations of linear WG product variables were presented as the IRRs associated with a higher intake of 25 g per day (individual WG products) or 50 g per day (total WG products) based on an evaluation of the inter-quartile range among cases (men and women, colon and rectal cancer cases combined).
For three transformations, we added the two previous codings and a categorical transformation in four classes based on the quartile, and so on.
