An article based on this project, "The Development of Mastery and Race in the Comprehensive Slave Codes of the Greater Caribbean during the Seventeenth Century" appeared in the William and Mary Quarterly in July 2013.
However, the report based on this project, 'A Decade of EU-Funded GMO Research', presents no data that could provide such evidence from long-term feeding studies in animals.
In fact (as I describe in my book based on this project), the awareness of death and the short time horizon remaining produced a desire to savor life in the moment and to take every advantage of the time that is left.
