"backyard oasis" is a correct and usable phrase in written English.
It is often used to describe a beautiful and tranquil outdoor space in someone's backyard. Example: "With a sparkling pool, plush greenery, and comfortable seating, our backyard oasis is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day."
And when the shadow falls across the backyard oasis, it is long and dark.
