The background of the physician may not be as important as their interest in these patients and the participation of the respiratory therapist, speech pathologist, clinical nurse specialist, physiotherapist, and dietitian.
Likewise, the Four Habits Model and our consensus behaviors do not reflect the potential differences in communication styles due to the gender or ethnic background of the physician and/or patient.
Moreover, multiple factors, including the educational status of the patient's family, the racial background of the physician, physician uncertainty regarding the patient's prognosis, and conflicts between the patient family and the physician, affect whether physicians discuss prognosis and the language used in that discussion [ 5, 6, 32, 33].
Nevertheless, considering the results of our earlier studies [ 16, 17] of a larger sample of the same material, which used other analytical methods, and also our experiences during the sickness insurance courses, it does not seem that the different clinical backgrounds of the physicians affected the way that they presented problems in the case reports.
Finally, it is acknowledged that several of the concepts are necessarily inexact and that bias may be introduced stemming from the background of the treating physicians.
The deficient professional background of the Sardinian physicians was reflected in poor communal organization of the sanitary structures.

Third, the background of the participants was limited to physicians and ethicists; likewise results may differ with consultants with different backgrounds.
