Background: Timing of delivery is difficult to judge in preeclampsia.
Multiple factors, such as genetic background, birth mode of delivery (caesarean or vaginal), mode of feeding (breast or bottle), diet, medical history and social activities all contribute to shaping a 'real-life' gut microbiota in humans.
