The project incorporated multidisciplinary education in business, engineering, and the environment that enhanced sustainability awareness, technical competence and innovative skills of industry professionals, while exposing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to cleaner production (CP) opportunities.
The workshops tap into the strengths of all groups while building their awareness and competence on how to produce effective communication for children of all ages.
These suggest awareness and competence with a range of issues that is broader than the current description of cultural sensitivity in the transformational leadership literature.
More recently, also in nursing, Garner [ 20] encouraged the use of photovoice for teaching and learning, arguing specifically that photovoice facilitated students' cultural awareness and competence in geriatric nursing.
Parents perceived a lack of support when teachers demonstrated a lack of T1DM awareness and competence e.g., "teachers lacking confidence in dealing with hypos…teachers are absolutely terrified of hypos in sporting activity and so they will not push or challenge him at all" (P11).

The results revealed that, according to the evidence we obtained, students gained in several aspects of awareness and environmental competence related to architectural concepts and principles.
Upon completion of the training, the experimental group reported an increase in body awareness and social competence, experienced distance to their own aggression, and experienced a higher degree of closeness to the group and trainer.
We found a growing awareness of cultural competence amongst staff in general, and many had attended training.
