The phrase "aware of their change" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used when discussing someone's recognition or understanding of a transformation or alteration that has occurred in themselves or their situation.
Example: "The team members were finally aware of their change in dynamics after the new leadership was introduced."
Alternatives: "conscious of their transformation" or "mindful of their shift".
Some participants had not been aware of their skin change until it was noticed by another person; others had known, and were also often aware that it was continuing to change, but they were ultimately encouraged to seek help by others.
Feedback on own behavior is important to achieve this goal, because it makes students aware of positive effects of their (changed) behavior.
