Compared with HCs, SAD patients showed significantly higher scores on the LSAS (including total score, fear factor and avoidance factor) assessment social anxiety symptom scales, and higher scores on the HAMD and HAMA, and higher levels of anxiety as assessed by the STAI-T and pre-scanning STAI-S.
