If a biclique pattern occurs in multiple chain pairs in PDB, in this case, we take the average as the significance of this pattern in PDB.
Each of the 485 512 CpG sites interrogated on the HumanMethylation450 array is present 16 times on average, allowing the significance (P value) for each single CpG site to be calculated based on the dispersion of the reads obtained when compared with background probes.
