Season ticket holders receive a 5% discount if the yearly average for punctuality drops below 82%.
By evaluating two measures that capture different dimensions of bus service reliability, and by estimating a series of regression models, I find systematic evidence that higher average service punctuality (or schedule adherence) and lower variation in schedule deviation over time are associated with greater ridership, all else equal, particularly during the peak periods.

The ORR is also demanding at least 90% of trains running on time on every route with a higher overall average target of 92.5% punctuality, as well as higher standards of network infrastructure management and improved safety for passengers and railway workers.
During the 2014-2019 period, the ORR said Network Rail must: Improve punctuality - an average of 92.5% of trains on all routes across the UK must arrive on time, compared with its target of just over 90% now.

In a 10 September 2008 article published in The Times, Biman was labelled the worst performer for punctuality at Heathrow, with flights delayed on average by three hours.
In addition, Fig. 12 shows an example of the punctuality of the Japanese HSR system expressed by the average delay per service.
It says Terminal 5 is consistently rated as one of the best airports in Europe, while plane punctuality and baggage performance have also improved and the average security queue stands at about two or three minutes.
In the CAA report, London City was named as the airport with the highest punctuality with 88 per cent of flights on time, along with the shortest average delay time of seven minutes.
