Parameters considered in the analysis are average processor and memory usage, response time and power consumption.
Performance measures such as average input waiting time, average network response time and average processor utilization have been collected before and after applying the algorithm.
The results show that the proposed algorithm is able to decrease the average input waiting time by 13.99% to 20.39%, average network response time by 8.76% to 20.36% and increase average processor utilization by 1.92% to 6.63%.
In this paper, we develop a Support Vector Regression (SVR) model for predicting the performance measures (i.e. average network latency, average channel waiting time and average processor utilization) of a DSM multiprocessor architecture interconnected by the Simultaneous Optical Multiprocessor Exchange Bus (SOME-Bus), which is a high-bandwidth, fiber-optic interconnection network.
The second objective that we propose to define is the average processor utilization value.
The higher the average processor utilization, the better is the load balancing across the processors [6].

In Figure 14, the average processors utilization is much higher for instantiation request scheduling algorithm than for the dynamic and the random algorithms.
For the instantiation request scheduling algorithm, we compute the total completion times and average processors utilization in order to compare the resource usage efficiency of the proposed fitness function with those analyzed in [6] (dynamic and random algorithms).
